I had x-rays of my spine last week and was diagnosed with Spondylolysis. As a result I have grade 1 spondylolisthesis. I probably have had this since I was a kid or at a minimum, from a previous car accident in my 20's. But in recent years I have had no pain (until the day I was hit by the guy who dropped his cell phone). Ugh, apparently that little fender bender was enough to re fractured or stress the weak point in the vertebrae and is the reason my back hurts so much. I am going to a Spinal Rehab and Sports Medicine Doc at Harborview in a few weeks. Hopefully he will be able to give me some relief and I will be racing in the spring.
Now for much better news... puppy delivery day is next Sunday. Woo Hoo! We are getting a little girl, her name will be Miley. If you have kids you may know who Miley Cyrus is, oh yeah, Hanna Montana. I am not a fanatic Disney star addict pu-leese, but my girls liked the name and I can't argue it is a cute name, and who wouldn't be honored to have a Bernese Mountain Dog with their name??
One of these little darlings is going to be ours. Aw how cute!
Time for lots of news papers and keeping the house picked up of bike gloves, shoes arm warmers etc. Fun to chew expensive to replace.
If you have a stock pile of newspaper let me know I will take it off your hands. Unfortunately since I get most of my news in blog form or some other electronic fashion, I have no papers of my own. *sigh* You could even get the chance to meet little Miley (she needs to meet all kinds of people for her socialization).
